Safeguarding at London Maths & Science College
The safety and wellbeing of every student is our highest priority. We follow the latest Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2025 statutory guidance.
Although our students are mostly 16–19, everyone under 18 is legally a child. We also take safeguarding concerns seriously for students aged 18 and over.
If You Are Worried About a Child Right Now
Emergency
If a child is at immediate risk of harm:
999
Call police straight away.
If you are outside the UK, contact your local emergency services in the first instance.
Non-emergency
If you need police advice:
101
Non-emergency police line.
If you think someone is in danger, don’t wait for a call back from the college—contact emergency services first.
