About the College

What We Are
London Maths & Science College is a specialist 16–19 college in east London. We do two distinct things:
- We teach. Ten A Levels and three GCSEs, delivered live in small groups, on campus, fully online, or hybrid. See the courses.
- We examine. We are a private examination centre, so candidates who study elsewhere, or independently, can sit their papers with us. See the examination centre.
Those are separate services with separate fees. You can use either without the other.
What We Are Not
Worth saying plainly, because it saves everyone time:
- We are not a state sixth form. We are an independent fee-charging provider. Our fees are published in full.
- We are not a boarding school. We do not provide accommodation.
- We are not a distance-learning provider. Our online courses are timetabled live lessons with a teacher, not recorded materials worked through alone.
- We do not yet have examination results. The college was incorporated in October 2025; our first two-year A Level cohort starts in September 2026 and sits papers in summer 2028. Any provider our age claiming a track record is describing something other than its own results.

We name the specification for every subject rather than just the board, because two courses from the same board can differ substantially and the code is what you are actually entered for.

As an examination centre we accept entries across AQA, Pearson Edexcel and OCR, which may differ from the board we teach for a given subject. Check the subject page before entering.

How to Check Us Out
You should not have to take our word for any of this. In your position we would:
- Look up the company on Companies House: incorporation date, registered address, filing history.
- Ask us for our examination centre number and check it with the awarding body directly.
- Ask what the fee includes and what it does not. Ours is published, including the costs that sit outside tuition.
- Ask how many hours a week you get per subject, and what the maximum class size is. Ask every provider under consideration. The answers vary far more than the prices suggest.
- Visit, or ask for a live lesson to sit in on.
If a provider will not answer those questions, that is itself an answer.
