The hardest part of applying to university without a school is not the form. It is finding anyone willing to put a predicted grade next to their name.
What a Predicted Grade Has to Be
A predicted grade is a professional judgement that a university relies on when it makes an offer. It has to be defensible, which means it has to rest on evidence rather than intention.
Ours rests on a full mock series sat under exam conditions and marked to the awarding body mark scheme, together with the weekly written work produced across the year. That is why we cannot issue a predicted grade to someone we have not taught and not assessed, there would be nothing behind it.
It also means the prediction sometimes disappoints. If the evidence points to a B, we predict a B. A generous prediction that collapses in August helps nobody, and admissions offices notice patterns.
What Is Included
Predicted Grades
One per subject, evidenced by mock performance and marked coursework, issued in time for your UCAS deadline.
A Written Reference
Covering academic performance, working habits and context, including, where relevant, an explanation of a disrupted year or a resit, which admissions readers do want to understand.
Personal Statement Review
Two rounds of written feedback on structure, evidence and specificity. We do not write it for you: a statement written by someone else reads like one, and declaring it honestly matters.

External candidates sit our assessment because a predicted grade with no evidence behind it is not something we are willing to issue.

Only after you have sat our assessment in that subject, which is what the £495 external package covers. Without evidence there is nothing to predict from, and we will not issue a number to order.
No. We will read it, mark it up and tell you where it is vague, unevidenced or interchangeable with anyone else's. A statement that is not yours is both detectable and declarable, and it does not survive an interview.
Yes, provided we have taught or assessed you, so that the reference has substance. See home educators and predicted grades and references.
Bring the evidence. Predictions are based on marked work, and if there is work we have not seen, or a mock that misrepresented you, we will look again. What we will not do is raise a prediction because a course requires it.
It does not have to be, but it usually helps. Admissions readers are more comfortable with a clearly explained resit than an unexplained gap, and a reference is the natural place for that context.
